A personality evaluation is a psychological assessment used to understand someone’s personality traits, behaviors, and emotional functioning. It involves answering a series of questions about your thoughts, feelings, and actions, and the results help identify patterns that can be helpful in understanding your mental health and how you interact with the world. These evaluations can be beneficial for individuals who are experiencing emotional difficulties, such as anxiety or depression, or for those looking to understand themselves better. By identifying strengths and areas that may need attention, a personality evaluation can guide therapists or counselors in developing a personalized treatment plan or offer valuable insight into improving relationships, work life, and overall well-being.
The process of a personality evaluation includes both a clinical interview and then the administration of the personality inventory. This can be done in person or via telehealth.
After meeting with you and test administration, I will analyze the data and provide you or a requesting clinician a detailed report.
